8:20 AM is Breakfast and Books Time!

We are proud to offer Breakfast in the Classroom to all Highland students between 8:20-8:35 every morning! During breakfast, Highland students read! Research shows that our students need to read a million words a year, so we use this time to help our students practice fluent reading and build vocabulary. Make sure that your child arrives at school before the 8:15 bell so that he or she does not miss this important reading time.
